The Multiple Listing Service (MLS) is a collection of real estate data from
property listings in the greater Shreveport/Bossier City/Alexandria area. This computerized list of data
is available to licensed Brokers and Realtors who are MLS members.
It is also available in short form to registered users of Internet Data Exchange
(IDX). The consolidation of real estate data in a secured location provides an excellent customer service tool, whether you are using Conventional, VA or FHA type financing. This quick market education is more accurate and up to the minute than if one conducted a "Google Search" for Adwords and is like gold in your pocket. each day. Only Realtor members can input data into this system. It is a wonderful tool

Realtor members of the MLS may search this database by price,
square feet, area, features, and year built. It's a great match service for buyer
and seller real estate information. Our current service covers Bienville, Bossier,
Caddo, Claiborne, Desoto, Red River and central Louisiana. This MLS database covers approximately 85% of all property
for sale. It does not include the For Sale By Owner properties or properties
listed by non-member Brokers. Realtor Broker members adhere to a strict ethical and legal
standard of full disclosure and fair dealing and arbitrate all conflicts internally.
It pays for a buyer or seller of property to use a REALTOR® member
of the MLS. They will save valuable time, have current and reliable data on which
to make decisions and always get the best price possible.
