Mix:
5 cups flour
1 1/2 cups shortening (Crisco)
1 1/2 cups water
3/4 T salt
Roll out thin. Cut in strips. Drop into boiling chicken broth a few at a time. Might need to add a little flour to thicken. Add boned chicken and a little milk. Cook until thickened.
(Can freeze strips on cookie sheet before cooking.)
